The UDC was at least as popular as the disk controllers manufactured by
Apple.
You can eject a floppy from a older Mac 800K drive that dosen't have
an eject button by using software. The Apple II Desktop can do this,
as can various BASIC and P8 programs (little routines that eject disks),
the GS can of course, some CDA's can do so, and a macro for AppleWorks
Classic too.
