The way I understand it, the standard CD software from 6.0.1 can only play
audio CDs on Apple's CD SC, CD SC plus, and CD150. It supports Apple's
proprietary audio SCSI commands, not the standard SCSI-2 commands used in
the CD300 and up, and on non Apple drives. You need different software if
you don't have one of those early Apple drives. I have a CD150, so it's plug
'n play.
