I can confirm that the Mac 800K drive works on a UDC card in an Apple //e
but it is not pleasant to use - it is very slow (it sounds like it does
a seek for every block read rather than for every track). I never got a
Mac 400K drive to work on my UDC (despite the ROM having code to support
400K drives).
P.S. As I have 3rd party 40 track 5.25" drives (one of which is plugged
into the UDC) I patched the UDC EPROM to give me a genuine 40 track 5.25
driver with ProDOS and Pascal 1.3 support.
