Hmm I just used Apple'S HD SC setup to partition an Apple ROM equipped Quantum
230 hard disk with a 32 mb ProDOS volume and a 200 mb HFS volume. Since HD SC
Setup installs a driver which can recognize ProDOS volumes, both show up on
the Mac desktop pretty as you please. But back on the IIgs, I get the "can't
recognize .APPLESCSI_HD.01.00" message. I guess the SCSI device driver thinks
that the APPLE_DRIVER partition which HD SC Setup installs is supposed
to be a disk volume. Bummer. Anyone know of a way to cure it? If not I'll
have to reformat the disk with SCSI Director, and give up using the ProDOS
volume on the Mac. Not a huge loss but it would be kinda cool to have it
available.
