    I'm past the planning stages, I've already begun writing the 
Apple IIgs FAQ. At present I only have a couple of sections completed 
(or near so) but I would like to have it as close to a 'version 1.0' 
release as possible, before making it public (I don't want several 
unfinished versions floating around). 

    Actually I'm starting with the technical parts and then leaving
the trivial and historical bits for the end (and probably several
ASCII diagrams and graphics, too :). Since I'm writing it up from 
scratch and doing it on my own, it'll probably take awhile, but I 
hope to have it available soon. The fun part will be piecing it all
together afterwards; ProTERM 3.1 has my favorite text editor on the 
Apple II but it has that 45K limit.
