I assume so, although I've never seen the hyperstudio microphone. Should put a
switch in series with the batteries in my circuit, otherwise they'll go flat
with a 10K load permanently across them.  The hyperstudio mike connected to the
internal fan pins on the motherboard to get power I've been told.
