Wrong.  EGA was digital.  VGA has always been analog.  CGA and VGA
connectors are considerably different.

In any case, the PC Transporter with a ColorSwitch card (part of the
IIgs installation kit) allows you to display CGA on the IIgs RGB monitor
(it uses resistor networks to convert the digital video to analog video,
and to switch the video signal between the PC and IIgs as required).
The card also has a connector which can be attached to a digital RGB CGA
monitor.
