        I'm not sure who this friend is but I have a Zip drive connected to
my GS Rom3 along with a Quantum 240 meg Hard drive, and a Sony CD Player and
they all seem to work happily and with no strange quirks other than having to
reinsert the zip disk when the drive goes into "sleep" mode.
