When I said self test, with ctrl closed apple, I did mean closed
apple, open apple, ctrl, reset. :-)
For some reason this machine does not respond when I try to run the
self test.

Redskull, I do have another working //c. If I swap the cpu's to see if
that fixes the problem will that address your concerns that it's not
the RAM or should I swap something else? Thanks again.
