I bet for some reason, it's opening offscreen. You may be able to
hold down control on opening the window to force it onscreen, or you
might also have to turn off invisible files (special menu,
preferences) and delete the finder.* files in the root directory of
the drive. Yes, that's kinda hard to do with the window not visible,
but if you run some other program (ProSEL) capable of toasting them,
or from within Basic.System, you can type the following
PREFIX /BAD.DRIVE
DELETE FINDER.ROOT
DELETE FINDER.DATA
Where 'BAD.DRIVE' is the volume name of the misbehaving volume.
After deleting the files, just reboot.
