May I add a few comments. First of all, I'm a less real programmer than anyone
who has been working for _Apple_II_DTS_. In fact, this is IMO an apple &
oranges comparison. I'm the orange.

Secondly, the main brain behind Fast Eddie is Andre Horstmann who might be
known to a few as the author of ShadoWrite and Hermes.

As long as Gus is not available,a side-by-side comparison is unfair. Let's just
hold our breath for the introduction of Gus and see what the Gus team brought
us. I'm sure it'll be a blockbuster.

The Gus team and Andre and I are developing a very similar product, and
according to Jim's recent posting, our missions are pretty identical too. We
are doing all this for our very own enjoyment and not for profit. I absolutely
do not mind the availability of one ore more competitive products because that
does not interfere with our goal of writing our own emulation software. There's
no point for us disapprove the work of those who once taught us how to program a
IIgs. Consequently, I have absolutely no problems with wishing the Gus team all
the best.

I can only speak for myself, but I guess Andre shares my opinion on this one.
