Tony, I really admire your determination! But I find that many of the Apple II resources on the web are in the form of .pdf files or .jpg files that are not practically accessible to a IIc. How do you deal with that?
Hi Michael,There are a number of web utilities online to allow you to convert a pdf to html which my Lynx can read. JPGs are coverted GIFs in the same way and IIGIF reader views them fine on my IIc. I download anything I want to save after I've converted it and store it on my CT100c (100 mb hard drive for my IIc which connects to the SmartPort). Manipulating files via the hard drive makes for quick work. My IIc also has a 8mHz Rocket Chip and a 1mb Ram IIc card in it. I output to a digital Video 7 box and RGB monitor. Just because I'm running a IIc as my core machine doesn't mean I can't utilize some improvements. I just don't believe you _have_ to move a PC/Mac/Linux system to do so.
