Er, actually announcements would definitely be relevant here.
What was posted on comp.sys.apple2.gno was a brief exchange in which
Derek mentioned the possibility of an announcement, not the announcement
itself.

The fact that c.s.a2.gno exists does not automatically make any mention
of gno irrelevant or off-topic for this newsgroup.
