That is a correct statement.

Note that "impossible" is quoted because it is not technically impossible
but simply a matter of time and effort (as is most things with computers).
AppleWorks is pretty hard coded with values. While it is theoretically
possible to break the line count into chunks of memory that were line
count, that would mean loss in speed and some sophisticated rewriting of
AppleWorks' WP.

Back in the AppleWorks v2 days, AEExpander would allow more lines by
eating up the 2nd bank of HiRes memory. That meant that you could not
display any hi-res graphics inside of AppleWorks. I believe this was still
possible in AW v3, but in v4 & v5, the memory is always reserved (and
can't be used for pointer space).

My recommendation would be to break up your document into several documents.
