Any program which expects one of these cards should be doing a slot
search to locate it, so both should work in any slot.

The only issue I can see is that if you want to boot from the hard
drive, it will have to be in slot 7 (unless you boot manually) - the
5.25" controller card will not pass the boot sequence on to the next
slot if it is unable to boot (unlike most other bootable devices).
