All I know is that my IIgs does 57.6k beautifully in the Proterm demo and 
38.4k in ANSITerm _without_ acceleration, so I assume an accelerated IIgs 
could do better. I have never seen a program or utility which allowed for 
faster than 57.6k and I do recall stated somewhere that IIgs have a 57.6k 
limit on their serial ports-but I'm not sure whether or not this is 
true.  With the the TurboABS card and a Super Serial card, it is possible 
to get speeds of 230k--if you had a macho accelerated GS with appropriate 
software, such speeds might be possible.
