Apple II E Question (transfer data/files to IBM compatable)

Hi,

I am new to this news group so please consider my question from a real
newbie.... Here it goes a relative of mine is moving some data from a
Apple II E software suite (Appleworks ?) to a IBM Compatible. Does any
one have any good methods for moving files between this two boxes. They
will be in the same room so maybe some kind of Lap Link type program
between the two. If any one can offer some advice (be kind) please email
me at moles@frontiernet.net.
