What you'll need is a modem, modem software, and a shell (not PPP
or SLIP) account from a local ISP. Most any external serial modem will
work fine; modem software runs from the decent and free to the very
awesome and commercial. The shell account is something you'll have to
look into locally-- look at http://www.thelist.com
