You found a good source for information here in comp.sys.apple2.
However, it would be helpful to tell us a little about the hardware
configuration of the IIe system that you have. Floppies? How many? 3.5
or 5 1/4? Hard drive? How much RAM? Printer? Is the IIe enhanced? Also,
did you get (any) manuals with it?

I know you said that you are new to the Apple IIe, but as much as you
can tell us about your system will better enable us to suggest what you
will need and where to get it. Finding the software and manuals, etc. is
no problem, but depending on how your IIe is configured, will determine
basically what you will be able to do with it. Keep in mind that you can
always (hardware) upgrade it if you need (and want) to. Finding
additional hardware is no problem either.
