Well, I can say it doesn't seem to affect the ROM 3. I tried a
full-sized fan (similar to the official Apple internal fan) and it
didn't affect sound. At the moment I have a mini cooling fan (type
used to cool Pentium processor chips) running off the motherboard
+12V "fan" connector, still no difference. For sound output, I have
an AE Audio Animator connected to a pair of Bose Roommate speakers.
Oh, there is a bit of hiss, but it's _always_ been there. :)
Part of it comes from the Bose speakers and the rest from the
GS's sound circuitry and Ensoniq 5503 (synthLAB has always been
annoying in that sense). ;)
