I got [stuck with?] the above card and 40-meg hard drive. The card, when
installed, does something so that the system 3.5 disk will not boot past
the middle of the thermometer. Any ideas what I might be able to do to
either check and/or repair this? Is this card even usable today?
The hard drive is by seagate. It has 2 25-pin centronics, like the zips
do. It also has a bank of microswitches to change the i.d., numbered 1
through 8. I have connected this to my ramFAST, which either doesn't see
it, or thinks it's a SASI sider hd. Can anyone supply me with a
combination of dipswitch settings that may allow me to use this drive?
TIA
Bob
