A good //e running AppleWorks is more valuable that 10 new typewriters
combined, in my opinion. At least they had the mind to donate SOME of
their II machines to another school.

Apple //e's are DAMN good puters when it comes to:

Entering data for anything (book reports, databases, stories, spreadsheets)

I import data I type on the //e into my Mac when I'm ready to print.
(AppleWorks is Prodos based. I use a 720K floppy drive.)

Brushing up on math or preparing for SAT's (my college uses an Algebra
excercise program on disk, and I've got Peterson's SAT Prep package- sorry, I
won't sell mine)

I read somewhere a long time ago that an Apple // was used to program a game
for the Nintendo Gameboy (Nintendo's Tennis game)
