Scott,

It uses the 65816 that WDC marks as being 14 MHz. They had previously sold
this part to operate at 16 MHz, then, after another die shrink, stated that
they thought it should work at 20 MHz. After contacting them about it, and
asking for verification at that speed, they had the parts tested by an
independant lab (their own test rig only goes up to 14 MHz), which verified
that the parts do indeed work at 20 MHz. We've built a few hundred of the
accelerators at this point, and haven't had a single processor fail at 20
MHz. The parts also do not run hot at all at this speed, so no extra
precautions are necessary. FYI.
