Well, I've done a couple things to try and remedy these problems:
I've added the SIMM to the Sirius GS ram card in slot 1 (normally
left blank on the ROM 3). This has eliminated the strange file
copying problem from within the finder.
Today, I re-initialized my "gno" partition and re-installed ORCA/M
2.1. I did this twice and each time I would get the "system error
$110A" when trying to boot ORCA.System. So, I turned DMA off on my
Apple HS SCSI and then did the re-initialization/re-installation steps.
NOW, I can boot ORCA with no problem.
I don't know if this will turn out to be a "global" improvement in
my system but I will leave DMA off for a few days and slowly
re-install other programs which have also been giving me the $110A
error. ...I'll see how things turn out.
Paul.
