My school (the whole school system here) has basically eliminated the
Apple ][. There's still a few (probably about 10 in use) IIe's sprinkled
around, but for the most part, we've gone MacOS. In fact, we've just
started getting rid of our old ][+'s and Monocrome monitors. I snagged a
whole bunch of 'em. :) :) We gave away a bunch of IIe's to another
school, however.
