Re: Do schools still use Apple // computers?

In our school district, apple IIe's are used in a "lab" for what is
basically a keyboarding class. We are very far behind the times; There are
really only two computers in our entire middle school that are recent. One
IBM compatible, one mac.

: Yes, there are still IIe's in use at Addison elementary school,
: primarily in the kindergarten classes. The computer lab has networked
: Windows PC's, and the shared workrooms between the classrooms used for
: the older students have 4 Windows PC's and two printers in them.
: There is a proposal to network ALL the computers in the school, as
: well as a county-wide network for the schools. I reserve judgement on
: how useful that will be until I see the full text of the proposal.
