That card was the Ramkeeper, and actually it does seem to support DMA, I
believe. The is a slot on the board for an optional "DMA Compatability
Daughterboard" that could also be used to connect to some of AEs RAM
cards. Presumably, if you added the DMA card any RAM (at least the first
8 megs) would be DMA supported. I don't know if this was needed for
*all* memory cards added to the Ramkeeper, or only those not already DMA
compatible. Actually, I don't know if the card ever actually existed or
was merely another one of AEs legendary vaporware products. If anyone
has experience with one of these, please post or e-mail me. I'd love to
hear one way or another.
