I remember reading in the Apple manual for the Memory Expansion Guide
that 768k on the memory board was not recommended. (I don't know whether
this meant that it just wasn't recommended or whether it was impossible
to do so.) If you (Randall Smith) are trying to install 768k, that might be
your problem....
