I need an Atari 400 -> 800

i need an Atari computer.... either the 400 or the 800, or anywhere in
between (if there were models built in between the 400 and 800...)
I have a special joystick-type device that can only be interfaced with
Atari.  Also, there's a serial port on the atari, right? or a modem
port? or something?  (sorry, I don't know too much about the hardware
specs... I was probably like 6 yrs old when these machines were coming
out!)


any help in locating info or the machines themselves would be much
