Difference between Apple SCSI and Apple HS SCSI

I'm trying to decide which SCSI controller to get for my girlfriend's GS.  She 
doesn't need a high performance card, but I don't want it to slug around, 
either.  How much of a speed difference would there be between a regular Apple 
SCSI card, and the Apple High-Speed SCSI card?  Her machine is a completely 
empty ROM 01, with 4.25 megs of RAM.  (no accelerator, etc.)  

That being asked, does anybody have a SCSI card they'd like to part with?
