And the *saddest* point of all is that most of us "pirates" are not advocating 
blatant theft from active products. What we are saying is that "abandoned" 
software sites (such as asimov) and the like should be left alone. They are 
lone sanctuaries of apple // software. But our points are invalid nonetheless. 
I have never advocated the distribution of software that is currently being 
sold through valid distributors. I respect the remaining apple // developers 
and mean them no hard (despite what joe kohn and the rest want everyone to 
believe).

But people like nathan and joe want to shut sites like asimov and the rest 
down. What a shame. A way for everyone to enjoy the defunct past of the 
apple //, and they want to take it away from everyone. What good is a 
computer if you cant get any software for it? That is the thing that will scare 
off the new apple // users, not the flame wars or "blatant piracy of software".
