PCT apple 3.5 drive cabling ?

Does any-one have any insights on getting/making a cable to go from a PCT
to a 800k or FDHD apple drive ?

Part two;

In the PCT manual, it states that you can set up a prodos file as a msdos
volume. I have done so with a 800k 3.5 disk containing the minimium prodos
files to get the PCT to boot., this left me with a 700k msdos volume. 
So the point/question is this;
I have no cable to go from the PCT to my FDHD drive but have a msdos volume.
Can some kind hearted person make up a 700k msdos volume using there PCT
Format it with the old format /s and put a few utils on it; like a text
editor / comms prog.

Is that to much to ask ?
If so I will just have to find another way to get the PCT to work.

Any suggestions ?
