My *guess* is it's either a serial/parallel card, or perhaps an
Analog/Digital converter. . .

That's a 6809 co-processor card, you used that to run OS-9 (operating
system) programs. (OS-9 was real popular with 6809-based systems 
such as the Tandy Color Computer). Without the software to run OS-9,
probably not horribly useful. .. .

Looks like a CP/M card to me . . .Again, needs special software, 
although
boot disks should be *much* easier to get for the CP/M card, than for
the OS-9 card described above.
