What is Noseware?

Well this can't be easily defined. It's no commercial software because the 
author has uploaded it to a public network for distribution.
On the other hand, it's no public domain or copyrighted freeware, because
the author reserves the right to remove this type of software from
everyone whose nose he doesn't like!

(Of course, this leads to a lot of people nosing around in other people's
sites and perhaps to some more ore less hard punches onto the noses of them)

I've never seen such a childish behaviour.

Addendum for all Vogons: I have currently the W3D file from comp.binaries
available for downloading on my site. If anybody doesn't like my nose,
just send me a small flame and I will remove it immediately. I have a
strong feeling of honor and I won't participate in these childish wars.
I guess that enough copies of these demos have been downloaded in the
meantime, anyway...
