I'm well aware of the current roundtable discussions and forum content on
Genie that deal with me and the 1WSW group. Reading these transcripts, sent
to me by several of my friends have shown me - beyond a doubt - that the
individuals noted in the Cc: of the email (exact copy attached below) are
engaged in an insane power trip to dominate and control the Apple II freedom
on the WWW - in general! No matter how hard you try - you can't control
the freedom of the Internet. Good deeds will always prevail over evil actions,
thoughts, words and deeds.
Genies at war, can only engage in a war with themselves. I have no intentions
of being a part in your evil little war games - fellows! I'm not your enemy.
You, your warped delusions and your own stupid fears are your real enemies.
I seldom share my email with the world - however this one is so bazaar I
thought all of the readers of this newsgroup might get a kick out of it.
Please read the exact copy with my reply to it - as noted below. Here's my
Thanksgiving Turkey to share with the world!
Cheers & Happy Holidays!
Tom

Subject: Site restrictions
Mr. Turley,
Due to recent circumstances, I have decided to change my long standing decision
to allow my software to be distributed far and wide.
I have not checked your site yet, so this letter may be irrelevant. However, I
would prefer your feedback in either case.
1. Please remove any electronic materials, for which I own the copyright, that
is, software, documentation etc. for anything which belongs, via copyright, to
either myself or any of the companies or business names which I own.
2. Please send me a list of any electronic materials with which I have been
involved in whatever shape or form, which I do not currently hold the copyright
to. This includes any commercial or freeware (public domain not included) (I have
never written anything as shareware) software, documentation etc. which I have
been involved in creating, however minor.
The above refers to the current and future 1WSW Internet sites, plus any other
BBS, disk library, WWW, FTP, or other Internet related sites which are or have
been in the past, associated with either yourself (Charles T. Turley), the 1WSW,
or any other group with which you are a current or past member.
In reference to your quick action regarding my concerns with Oz DOS, I thank you
again, ahead of time, for your assistance in the above matters. Negotiation will
not be entered into.
Regards,
Richard Bennett

Your letter is not only irrelevant, it's down right childish!
