Actually, 8 bit Apple IIs are capable of displaying super hi-res as
well as SVGA images.  All you need to do is install an Apple Video
Overaly Card or Second Sight SVGA card.

Unfortunately, the number of 8 bit Apple IIs that are equiped with
these cards is incredibly low, but they can do it.
