Betcha it'd sell for $75. Or more in the Mac forsale groups.

Get a Quadra if you want ethernet. A 610 or 700 would run you $500ish now.
You don't need Appleshare since system 7 has file sharing built in. I use
it with my Q700 ethernetted to my Fastpath with my IIgs, or Powerbook, or
workstation card equipped //e on the localtalk side.
: 2) I've got a RamFAST. I believe it's the last version of the card they
: made before they went to using a smaller form factor. I think it's
: in slot seven, so could this interfere with my plans?
Yep unless your IIgs is a ROM 3
: 3) Are there any other issues I should think about? I'd like to hear
: from anyone who has set their GS up with a network connection.
The guy who sold me my Fastpath had someone configure it where there are
two zones, ethertalk and localtalk, and all the localtalk stuff (II's, power-
book, printers) is in the localtalk zone and the ethernet stuff (Quadra, SE/30)
is in the ethertalk zone. Rather slick. The only problem is that I can't boot
a IIgs from the SE/30 running Appleshare 3.0 through the bridge - I have to
switch it to localtalk to do that, which pretty much sucks.
: Anyone want to save me from this and just buy my FastPath 5R for $200?
Are you sure you want to buy a multi-hundred dollar Mac system just so you
can use that Fastpath?
