Syquest Questions

 I believe it has been said that the Syquest EZ 135 can be accessed
through either the RamFast or the Apple High Speed SCSI cards.  I have
used the Syquest with my RamFast, and had few problems (only an irksome
doubling of my second partition and a corresponding drop of one of my
other partitions under ProDos 8, but all seems okay under GSOS 6.0.1).
 
I have loaned my Syquest to a friend in his hour of need--a flakey HD.
We copied his HD contents on to a Syquest disk using my RF first to
format (with some use of ProSel) and partition the disk, and my machine
to copy the files from his HD to the Syquest.  He brought his HD over
to my house to do so. He can now with his machine boot the Syquest
disk, now connected to an Apple High Spped SCSI card, but cannot access
any of the applications.  What if anything is needed: drivers, a
Syquest system?  Is there a formatting compatability issue. Any
suggestions?  Is there is FAQ out there?
