Digi-Key has sold .6-to-.3 adapters for some time. The problem
with these has always been that they introduced too much 'noise'
to the system and the SRAMS would not work. Supposedly, they
may work with special 'low power' or 'double low power' SRAMS.
However, I don't know of anyone who ended up using these
adapters successfully. I still have my set in a drawer :-)

However, your wire wrap version may be of different construction
and thus avoid these pitsfalls.
