Video Cd player

Hi, can anyone tell me how to play video CDs on a Mac?? I was told that
having the Quicktime 2.5 would solve the problem, but i couldn't seem to
get it to work. Is there supposed to be any additional s/w that is
required or just simply the movie player would do. Or it there any other
hardware requirments?? Thanx a million

P.S...I aplogize if this is the wrong newsgroup, but I couldn't seem to
find any others.
