Thought of that FIRST as I ALWAYS have my OLD II+ Zenith Green screen
connect to my gs's RCA output.

There was an article about fixing some KNOWN fault on one of the boards
in the monitor. Can not for the LIGHT of my monitor remember where I read
it ):
Any-one remember the MONITOR Fixer_UPPER ?
