There are two partitions the GS can't recognize. One is of type
"Iomega_DiskInfo" and is specific to the Iomega software. (I have no
idea what the purpose of this is. It seems to be mostly empty space.)
The other partition is of type "Apple_Driver43" and stores a Mac SCSI
Manager 4.3 compliant driver. This appears on many Mac hard drives
formatted with recent software, not just Iomega disks. The GS'
SCSIHD.DRIVER recognizes and ignores "Apple_Driver" partitions but not
"Apple_Driver43" (which were defined after GS System 6.0.1 was released).
I imagine that it wouldn't be too hard to patch SCSIHD.DRIVER (and
SCSICD.DRIVER too) to ignore any partition types that begin with the
string "Apple_Driver" rather than explicitly match it. This should
also work with any future variants that Apple decides to create (such
as from the upcoming MacOS 8).
