Software Forum Dinner Mtg., Wed. Nov. 20: BeBox and BeOS
SOFTWARE FORUM (Palo Alto CA)
Monthly Dinner Meeting, Wednesday, November 20, 1995
A Third Platform? The BeBox
Is the idea of creating a third platform naive or clever? Jean-Louis
Gassee, president and CEO of Be, Inc., has developed the BeBox and
BeOS, a fast computer and crisp operating system (BeBox and BeOS are
trademarks of Be, Inc.)
You have heard the press rumors about talks between Be and Apple.
Jean-Louis, previously president of Apple Products Division, worked
earlier as an executive at Exxon Office Systems, Data General, and HP.
