My IIgs <--> My PC

Sorry about the last message.  Problem with my newsreader.

Anyway, I need a simple way to transfer files from my PC to my IIgs.  The
files in question are all Apple II files, so it's not a matter of
converting them -- I just need a way to get them over there.  Disks won't
work.
I have heard of simply plugging a phone cord into the LINE jack of both
modems and then having them fake a connection, but don't know quite how. 
Has anyone out there solved this problem?
