If I understand the problem correctly (I don't remember the
beginning of this thread), what you need to do is select something
like Online Preferences (sorry, I don't have the program in front
of me). I believe OA-L is the key combination for that. Change the
thing that says "offline" to "online." When you exit the dialog,
it will look like you are online. Type whatever command you wish (it
won't appear on the screen). When you are done, change it back to
offline.
