Hi all--
I just dug out my //e to loan to a friend so he can get on the internet.
In my not so infinite wisdom, I pulled the covers off my hand made
hardware handshaking cable to compare what was there to what Proterm's
manual says it's supposed to be. Now, the cable's been around a few other
places, so looking at all those unsoldered wires made me think something
wasn't right. I hastily soldered everything back to the Proterm manual
specs and, yes, you guessed it, it now doesn't work.
I even know where I have the specs I used to wire it up the last time. On
a 5 1/4 floppy right here. The //e that can read this floppy is now 50
miles away. I scanned the FAQ real quick, but couldn't find the pinout.
Could somebody please e-mail me the correct pinout? I have an enhanced
//e with Apple's Super Serial card, and I'll be hooking up to a USRobotics
14.4 modem.
I thank you, and my friend, who now has everything but a dang cable to get
on the internet, thanks you!
