I'm gonna break netiquette, and say a big fat "Me too!".  I agree with that
statement.  If you've got a PowerMac, why run IIgs software?  What IIgs
software is better than the latest Mac stuff?

If you can affort a PowerMac, you can afford Mac s/w too.

For me, IIgs is "good enough", so I don't have any need to upgrade.  If
I ever did, my first task would be replace my applications with new ones,
and convert my data files.  If software emulation could let me play some
old games, great, but I wouldn't worry too much if I couldn't.


I'm an Apple II fan since 1982, but I can't see the reason for all the
excitement over GuS, etc., other than the "Gee Whiz" factor.  IMHO, etc.
