I know someone out there has this patch, because I had a similar problem. 
Unfortunately, that fix doesn't help my problem (and I discarded it,
sorry), that of it not running properly off an AppleShare volume.  When it
asks for the keydisk, it never bothers to check the physical drives for it. 
It is as if it is asking me to eject my AppleShare volume and put the
original disk there, which is impossible.
