If you're interested in one of the reallt good ADCs for the Apple II
keep you eyes open for the Interactive Structures (aka Daisy) AI-13.
We use these extensively at work. Another good card was one built by
MetraByte. The Applied Engineering 12 bit ADC was so-so (we had boot
problems using them in IIGS's). The lack of new ADCs for the Apple II
hsa emerged into a non-problem. One of many solutions is to use a
PIC. We're using one on a GS right now at work that has a pair of
12-bit ADCs on-board that talk to the GS over an RS-232 line. We could
just as easily use a IIc or IIc+, a IIe with a Super Serial card, or
even a Laser 128.
