Could some kind soul explain to me how i can make my apple][+
act like a dumb terminal, i.e., send everything i type to the SSC
and print everything it receives from the SSC on the monitor?
Is that possible w/o a comm program?
The thing is: i just tried to test my SSC and modem.
[I'm a newbie with these things... ;-} ]
I still haven't managed to buy a comm program for my apple][+.
I've got the manual of the modem, but i can't find the manual to the
SSC.
All i want to do for now: i want to send a few characters ["ATI0<CR>" in
particular]
to the modem, which would make it respond with some identification
strings.
I tried IN#1 [i plugged the card in slot 1, the second from the left],
and i tried PR#1 - nothing worked. A few lights on the modem went on
[CTS, RTS], but that was it.
Well it was a first try...
Can anybody give me a hint?

Thanx a lot!
Gab.
